PRISMA :: Web-based Extranet Design

You think you’ve got demanding clients? Prisma International, a global technical communications firm, serves an array of clients who demand real-time metrics on their projects, so they can satisfy ISO and Six Sigma requirements. In response, Prisma developed a client extranet called Prisma Online (POL). The data engine under the hood was impressive, but the "dashboard" needed some polish to bring out the site’s true potential. Polymer worked with Prisma’s development team to create a user interface that was both usable and engaging, reflecting the personality of the Prisma team.

One key aspect of POL was the online job initiation process. The process needed to be straightforward and intuitive, and Prisma had to make sure that key project parameters were captured correctly. We proposed a "passport" process that shows users what steps they have already accomplished and allows them to return to and edit previous entries.
